Derby Street Shops announces Untold Brewing will launch a new brewery, bar and restaurant

In exciting news, the popular South Shore brewery, Unique brewingextends its presence to Derby Street Shops. In addition to its seasonal beer garden, now entering its second season on The Green, Untold Brewing will open a year-round brewery, dining room and restaurant on the property in fall 2022. The new location will feature Untold’s full line of high-quality ales and lagers, plus new limited releases. This new concept will also include a restaurant developed in partnership with Clandestine Kitchen, the award-winning home meal delivery service and private chef catering company launched by Hingham resident Courtney Doyle.;

Upon opening in Derby Street, Untold’s new location will bring its popular beer and Clandestine Kitchen’s menu of fresh, healthy food to customers across the South Shore and beyond. Customers will find over a dozen different beers on tap, some of which will be exclusive to Derby Street, as well as soft drinks and a seasonally inspired menu of salads, sandwiches, flatbreads and small plates all showcasing quality, locally sourced ingredients. . The 2,300 square foot space will feature a mix of comfortable seating and casual standing room where customers can order drinks and food digitally or at the counter, as well as order packaged beer and ready-to-go meals.

Untold Brewing’s new location will share the same family-friendly atmosphere, sleek, relaxed design and emphasis on hospitality that has made its Scituate Room a favorite destination while incorporating elements that make it unique to Derby Street. Inspired by Untold’s 1852 old school in Scituate, the bar will have a recognizable look and feel that patrons will love. As a nod to their shared commitment to sustainability, specific efforts are made in construction and daily service practices to reduce the company’s environmental footprint to an absolute minimum, including the use of 100% compostable service eliminating thousands of gallons of water use. per year.

Well known as active members of the community, Untold and Clandestine Kitchen will use their new location to host a variety of programs including yoga classes, live acoustic music, special dinners, cooking classes and other community events throughout the year.
