Internationally acclaimed design firm recognized for its innovative dining environments, Landini Associates, has announced its latest collaboration with Café de Coral Group: A newly designed flagship concept in Zhuhai City. The newest location of Café de Coral, China’s largest quick-service restaurant brand, with more than 160 locations around Hong Kong, the restaurant offers two contrasting dining experiences with its first-floor café and dining room at the floor.
Landini Associates, known for “reinventing the normal” in restaurant and store design for top brands, unveiled a striking yellow glass facade as an evolving expression of the confident and magnetic Café de Coral brand. The result underscores this image, presenting a calm authority standing confidently away from the busy streets.
Inside, Landini Associates has designed two distinct dining experiences, including the urban café concept on the ground floor, which offers an elegant sanctuary from the cacophony of the streets – a place where diners rest, gather and mingle. resource. On the upper level, the Café de Coral experience transforms into a home away from home for regular customers, presenting an elegant and uncluttered environment with a recognizable yet understated personality.
“Seemingly a contradiction, the restaurant is beautifully efficient but also restful,” says Wayne Cheng, director of interior design at Landini Associates. “Despite its quiet ambitions, the interior surrounds a dynamic working restaurant, full of efficient functions. It is this activity and the customers who enjoy it that are drama, color and fun.
A palette of warm woods, terrazzo, white finishes, and pops of color, along with an open concrete ceiling, enhance the simplicity of Café de Coral’s classic decor.
