Text description provided by the architects. HappyWorks – work module is a response to the work culture shift the world faced at the start of 2020. With “working from home” becoming mandatory at the time, the perception of a viable workspace found various interpretations. By reducing the current office infrastructure to a space that would only be used for collaborative work, many industries have become acclimated to having their employees work offsite for the long term.

With many offices standardizing, or even preferring, the WFH ethos, the onus is on the individual to outfit their home according to these guidelines. In a developing country like ours, it is not always possible for everyone to maintain a comfortable workspace in their home.

In light of this, the work module smart modules provide a formal working environment for those looking for such a solution. The nacelle houses different types of workstations for everyone, i.e. from small groups to individual workstations. To balance the working areas, chill-out areas with indoor screening, dry coffee and warm-up stations, outdoor courtyard and amphitheater have been incorporated.

All of these programs interlock with each other, giving you the freedom to choose and easily maneuver. Natural lighting, the shaded courtyard, connects users to natural elements and helps to enliven them. Modular in design, the module has been planned at different nodes in Newtown. All that is required is a small plot of land.
