In Newark, Herman’s Quality Meat Shoppe has been a community go-to for the needs of area butchers since 1967, with three generations of Hermans working there.

Haldas Market opened in 1917 on King Street in Wilmington, but has since moved to Silverside Road.

The Hickman family’s first butcher dates back to the late 1800s, and the passion for the job continued when fourth-generation meat cutter William “Bill” Hickman II opened Hickman’s Meat Market Rehoboth in 2001.
Now led by Bryan Hickman, the family promises the same quality and standards of practice that have been in place for many years.
Hickman’s offers traditional meat dishes such as beef, pork, veal, lamb, poultry and sausages, but also a variety of specialty cuts. Some of these include ground buffalo, farmed rabbit, ribs, beef tongue, and a variety of bacon and jerkies.

Bachetti Bros. Meats, Market and Food, Milltown
Bachetti Bros. was known as Bachetti & Sons when it was established in West Philadelphia in 1932 by Filippo Bachetti.
