MediaTek to Design Smart Solutions for Atmanirbhar Bharat in India

As 5G rolls out in India, opening up new possibilities and opportunities, MediaTek, a semiconductor company powering nearly 2 billion connected devices annually and exclusive 5G partner for India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2022 has reiterated its commitment to the “Design In India” initiative, strengthening the Indian ecosystem to advanced technologies compatible with 5G. Emphasizing “design in India” in line with Aatmanirbhar Bharat, the company announced a strategic collaboration with Invendis, an Indian ODM, to deploy 5G and Wi-Fi router solutions at IMC. The Silbo range of Wi-Fi 5 and Wi-Fi 6 routers powered by MediaTek chipsets are an all-indigenous offering from Invendis aligned with government push for “Vocal for Local” products.

The Lava ‘Blaze 5G’ powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset was launched alongside IMC 2022. The 5G smartphone offers Indians accessible 5G technology and a complete smartphone experience.

  • Design in India area – showcases the technological prowess and benefits that 5G and other new era technologies will unlock across industries with a range of products from brands like Invendis, Relesys, Tessolve, Eldass, Libre and MoMagic, among others.
  • Smartphone space – included the latest devices powered by flagship 5G chipsets – MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ and Dimensity 9000. Some of the devices on display included brands like Asus, Vivo, Redmi, Samsung, Realme, Oppo, Lava, OnePlus, Redmi, Infinix, Motorola and Poco.
  • smart home area – the product range included smart TVs, tablets, wearables, smart clocks, routers, Chromebooks, home automation, set-top boxes, surveillance products, indoor and outdoor CPEs from various brands including Amazon , HP, Sony, Lenovo, Xiaomi, Quectel, Fibocomm, PV Technologies, Realme, Relesys, PayTm, VVDN, Libre, Kent, Byju, Proscend, Zyxel, Arcadyan, FII, Quanta and RuRuTek, among others.
