Co-founders Jonathan Carter-Morris and Marc Hornby learned the news of their latest award as they began preparations for the launch of their brand new wedding venue Stockton House, near Shifnal, during the National Wedding Show in Birmingham over the weekend. last end.

Caviar & Chips Catering has its production kitchen in Birmingham and hosts weddings and events across the UK. It was founded by the couple in 2017 while they were studying their MBA at Aston University in Birmingham.

Now, three years later, they have transformed the bespoke catering business into an award-winning brand recognized for its unique, tailored approach to creating any menu in any format their customers want. wish to imagine.

They also launched their first pub in March 2020 in Kenilworth, Warwickshire called The Famous Virgins in Castle and are now starting their next business with their unique wedding venue and boutique in Shropshire, Stockton House which will open in 2022.

Co-founder Marc Hornby explained, “Winning this award is a huge recognition for our brilliant teams who worked so hard last year. We have come out of containment and have had more weddings and events this summer than we only did that during our first two years.

“We are growing very quickly and our teams continue to meet incredibly high standards and it is an absolute joy to see. “

Co-Founder and Executive Chef Jonathan Carter-Morris explained how the idea for Caviar & Chips came about when he was getting married himself and he just couldn’t find a caterer to create a menu. that he and his fiancee wanted.

“We were looking for a caterer who would be excited about our menu ideas and help us prepare all the foods and drinks we love to enjoy together,” he said. “My wife and I love to dine out and work in the hospitality industry myself for over 20 years, we wanted a menu that tells a story about our relationship, but we really had a hard time finding someone who could help us, so we did it ourselves.

“This turned out to be a great menu with five courses, assorted wines, canapes and after dinner drinks. So we created a company and Caviar & Chips was born. “
