SecondLive has big plans for the NFT marketplace and authoring tools

We had a fun chat with SecondLive as they talked about their outfit airdrop, NFT Marketplace, and upcoming NFT creation tools.

Direct from SecondLive

Remember how excited we were to write about the new NFT outfits designed by the SecondLive community, to mark the launch of Binance’s BAB token?

Well, we got such a positive reaction from our readers that we reached out to the BNB Chain metaverse team to talk about the airdrop, their Non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace, their Gobeti NFT editing tool and other content creation tools coming soon.

BSC News struck up an engaging conversation with SecondLive Marketing Director Olivia G.

Here are some excerpts from our conversation (edited for clarity and readability):

My favorite ! Agung Rachmatullah’s design appealed to this writer with the gold and white contrasts.

Q: Were your $BEAN and NFT outfit giveaways inspired by the Binance blockchain?
Week held in Paris recently?

A: Yes. Binance Blockchain Week is an influential event for the entire Web3 industry. The forms of the offline event also inspired our metaverse and NFT marketplace campaign. For example, we saw attendees wearing event uniforms for blockchain week. Likewise, the launch of the BAB token is another incredible new milestone for Binance.

So, we thought, “Why not design uniforms for BAB token holders, making them own their identity not only in the wallet but also in the fashion style?”

It is an inspiration for the uniform design campaign.

Q: We understand that you are looking to offer more $BAB benefits in the near future. What will it look like?

A: $BAB holders are real users. We will therefore preferentially open SecondLive benefits or qualifications to certain events for these users and, certainly, the restoration of the NFT market in the future.

We thought this uniform design was stylish.

Q: How did you choose the finalist outfits like Multi, CotNeo, Agung Rachmatullah and others?

A: We first filtered some disqualified models, for example incorrect formats or not designed with our tool. Then we returned to the remaining designs for the community vote. SecondLive adopts DAO governance.

Q: Which NFT market making was the most acceptable among the public so far? Reasons that made it popular?

A: The design of Multi. We believe it includes many Binance elements, better displaying the identity of BAB token holders.

See! The people’s choice.

Q: Do you plan to release any other NFT outfits in the near future? Do you already have a roadmap for this?

A: Yes. The BAB Holders Uniform Campaign is the second apparel design related event we have had with BNB Chain. We will launch more based on the progress of the BNB Chain ecosystem.

Q: What strategies are you adopting to stay ahead of your competition and the NFT market?

A: Interactive 3D user-created content is central to Web 3.0 and metaverse content (just as flat user-created content and short videos are essential to Web 2.0).

As one of the pioneering metaverses, SecondLive will soon launch a set of highly integrated, easy-to-use 3D interactive content creation tools and a new interactive space.

By then, the SecondLive Everyone Creation Link will be perfected, and Gobeti will no doubt be an important part of this upgraded link, working in sync with the creation tools that are coming soon or in the long-term planning. This enhanced link is indispensable for users in their search for more convenient content creation, self-expression, and communication in the virtual world of the Metaverse.

Q: With Gobeti, you had already integrated technologies such as augmented reality and virtual reality, do you have similar plans to use the technology for future NFT market projects?

A: As a costume design tool for the SecondLive Avatar system, Gobeti adheres to the technical standards of the Avatar character system. All base avatar models (ACG and realistic styles) launched by SecondLive are compatible with the most widely used technical AR and VR standards.

They also have presets that allow easy connections with traditional XR wearables. Based on the same basic Avatar models, Gobeti therefore has the same abilities. In the future, users will be able to apply self-designed costumes without additional adjustments to application scenarios and XR hardware.

Many people have felt the revolutionary changes brought to the 3D experience by XR wearables. Such technical innovations will be essential for user communication and the promotion of original content.

Gobeti’s ultimate goal remains the same: to place 3D digital assets in a virtual 3D space and provide users with a fully virtual experience.
