Philadelphia, PA – XI West at University City is a new wedding venue in Philadelphia that aims to meet the needs of diverse customers, especially the city’s growing Asian population. The venue includes a bridal room and a Chinese banquet-style restaurant, with an emphasis on seafood. While many wedding venues in Philadelphia feature more than just ceremony space, this one is designed to offer more than the typical banquet type service.
XI West in University City is Philadelphia’s latest wedding venue
XI West Weddings and Private Events is the first brand new Asian-owned dining and wedding venue in the area to open in many years. The entire project was created to meet the demand of the large group request upstairs to Dim Sum House and fill the void of new, affordable but well-made dining venues in the region, especially for the Asian community.
It is one of the newest and largest Chinese owned, female-owned wedding and dining venues have opened in recent years throughout the Philadelphia market. Jane Guo was a trailblazer in the area’s culinary community, dating back decades with her concepts on the mainline and western suburbs.
For modern wedding couples looking for something truly unique and affordable, dim sum themed weddings are one of many off-the-shelf options currently springing up in Philadelphia. This recently renovated venue offers an elegant and spacious space perfect for an intimate and lavish wedding.
Newly engaged couples and event planners will also find plenty of gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options on the menu. There will also be an extensive cocktail program, including coffee cocktails. The venue is located at 3939 Chestnut Street, first floor.
